Take care of your knife

Don't ruin your knife

First of all - don't ruin your new knife! Just follow those steps to keep your knife safe:

  1. Don't use dishwasher to wash your knife. It can be damaged or become rusty.

  2. Never leave carbon steel knives in a sink. Prolonged exposure to water can completely destroy the steel.

  3. Don't attempt to cut bones, corn or other hard foods with knives that are not intended for this purpose.

Take care of your knife

To ensure that your knife remains as beautiful as it is for many years to come, and at the same time performs its job just as well, you should follow these steps:

  1. You can use camellia oil to keep knives sharp and shiny or to guard against rust, corrosion, and discoloration.

  2. A high-quality and expensive knife should be sharpened with the correct tool. It is advisable to use a whetstone.

  3. Store your knife correctly. Use Saya or magnets - a good knife should not be thrown into the drawer with all the tools.
