Handmade Japanese bunka knife by Mr. Takeshi Saji. The bunka is a multipurpose kitchen blade. It works well for chopping vegetables, and the triangle-shaped tip region is very helpful for chopping meats and fish. 31 layers of VG10 nickel damascus steel make up the blade. 17 cm is the length of the blade. Iron wood handle with bolster made of stainless steel. The Takeshi Saji bunka knife HA-4106 weighs roughly 230 grams.
The chairman of Saji Blacksmith (Japan) is Takeshi Saji. Member of Japan Custom Knife Makers and Japan Knife Guild. In 1992, the Japanese "Ministry of International Trade & Industry" granted him official certification as Dentoukougeishi, a "Traditional Master Craftsman."
