Daisuke Nishida

Over 40-year-old Japanese blacksmith Daisuke Nishida is situated in Kumamoto. At the age of 19, he started training as a blacksmith under another, and nine years later, in 2006, he struck out on his own and established his own workshop. He only works with white#1 steel, which is reputedly difficult to forge and can only be properly forged by the finest blacksmiths.
