Misuzu Hamono's Japanese vegetable knife, nakiri. VG-10 steel makes up the core of this 17 centimeter blade, which is covered in layers of stainless steel. This Misuzu Hamono nakiri knife has a D-shaped hardwood handle with a magnolia lacque finish and weighs approximately 140 g. A Japanese knife called a nakiri is used to chop and cut vegetables. Yamato Miyawaki has been Misuzu Hamono's principal blacksmith since 2006. Japanese kitchen knives from Misuzu Hamono are manufactured by hand in Japan.
