Katsuto Tanaka, a master craftsman who manufactures knives under the Matsubara Hamono brand, created this chef's knife. Three layers are used to create the 24 centimetre blade. Aogami #2 Blue Paper steel makes up the core. Made of walnut wood, the traditional Japanese Wa handle is octagonal in shape. The knife cannot be washed in a dishwasher. The box has a brand on it.
