The Ginga "Galaxy" series' Japanese Nakiri Sakai Takayuki vegetable knife blends contemporary technology with traditional craftsmanship. The premium ZA-18 steel, which is known for having a high carbon and chromium content and offering exceptional corrosion resistance and long-lasting edge retention, is used to manufacture the 165 mm blade. The 69 layers of Damascus steel that surround the blade core provide stability and strength as well as a stunning, one-of-a-kind design that resembles a glittering galaxy. The handle has a sophisticated buffalo horn bolster and is made from dense wenge wood in the traditional Japanese wa style. The knife should not be used as a cleaver and is not dishwasher safe. Since it is a chopping knife, the nakiri should not be used on hard foods.
