18 cm Seki Kanetsugu Zuiun Santoku. A unique model created to commemorate the company's centenary is the Zuiun. The blades of Seki Kanetsugu Zuiun knives resemble Japanese swords in their wavy "hamon" design. In its current form, Seki Kanetsugu Cutlery has been producing contemporary blades that embody the qualities of Japanese swords: they are extremely sharp, unbreakable, and unbending. The Zuiun were likewise imbued with the spirit of these swords by the manufacturer. The fundamental material of the Damascus steel blade is powdered stainless steel SPG2. The blade's surface, which has been expertly sharpened by artisans, has a pattern resembling a scudding cloud. In keeping with a feature of Japanese swords, it is also forged into a V-shaped "hamaguri-ba" clam blade.
