Sakai Takayuki's traditional Japanese bunka knife, which has a 16 cm blade, is a small, multipurpose tool that can be used for the majority of household chores. The blade is made of premium VG10 stainless steel, which is well-known for its superior resistance to corrosion, high hardness, and enduring edge retention. 33 layers of Damascus steel surround the VG10 core. Both right-handed and left-handed users will find the knife equally comfortable due to the double-sided sharpening of the cutting edge. Zelkova (Keyaki) wood, a deciduous tree in the elm family that is highly valued in Japan for its strength, stability, and lovely natural texture, is used to make traditional Japanese handles. This knife, which is made in Japan by Aoki Hamono Co., Ltd., blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary technology. This knife cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.
