Tanaka knives are handcrafted in a traditional workshop by Shigeki Tanaka and a small group of his colleagues in Miki City, Hyogo. Every Tanaka knife is handmade using the age-old method, which has been used in Japan for hundreds of years. With unparalleled Japanese blade knowledge and expertise passed down from generation to generation for millennia, the blacksmith produces superb knives. Tanaka knives received great accolades from some European chefs that hold three Michelin stars.
