The Gihei Hamono workshop produced this Japanese chef's knife. The majority of cooking operations may be completed with the 180 mm blade. The gyuto is lighter and has a thinner blade than European chef's knives. The Gihei Hamono gyuto knife's blade is made of HAP 40 steel and is further shielded by stainless steel scales. The majority of Japanese kitchen knives have this three-layer design, which is known as Sanmai. Traditionally Japanese, the WA-style handle is made of magnolia wood and has a buffalo bolster. It is not safe to put in the dishwasher.
