The skilled craftsman Takeshi Saji created this Japanese chef's knife by hand. It has an 18-cm blade made of eye-catching rainbow Damascus steel with a premium VG10 steel core. Quince wood is used to create the exquisite handle. The knife weights roughly 250 grams. Takeshi Saji is regarded as one of the top smiths in Japan, with a focus on traditional kitchen knives. He is a member of the esteemed Japanese Knifemakers' Guild and has received multiple accolades from the Fukui Prefectural Government for his skill. In 1994, he received the title of "Master Guardian of Traditional Crafts."
