The compact, high-impact plastic base of the Spyderco Galley-V sharpener allows it to be clamped or even permanently fixed to a countertop or other work surface. Base measurements: 2"(5cm) x 6"(15cm). The sharpener's fine ceramic rods are positioned at a 20-degree angle (10 degrees each side) thanks to star-shaped apertures in the base. Sharpening large knives is made easy with the extra-long stones (12", 31cm length), whose edges may be flipped to quickly sharpen serrated blades.
