The Japanese tiny knife from the Sakai Takayuki Ginga "Galaxy" series is made for delicate and accurate kitchen tasks. It works well for chopping and peeling fruits, vegetables, herbs, and tiny materials. The 150 mm blade is crafted from Japanese ZA-18 steel. The 69 layers of Damascus steel that surround the blade core have a distinctive design that resembles a galaxy full of brilliant stars. An exquisite buffalo horn bolster complements the knife's handle, which is made from sturdy, dense wenge wood in the traditional Japanese wa style. Japanese kitchen knives cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.
