Sharpening stone Suehiro Maido 1000 MG-1000-3

This special 1000-grit Suehiro whetstone is only available in small quantities. Using magnesium oxide as a binder, the stone is cold-cured from WA abrasives. The blanks were aged for fifteen to twenty years. A hard, "clean" working surface is the end product, offering a very comfortable and regulated sharpening experience. We suggest utilising Nagura stone slurry (an optional honing accessory) for the sharpest finishing edge. Compared to standard synthetic water stones, this special Suehiro whetstone is far more durable and has a smooth, constant feel. High-temperature (100°C) and dry storage tests for synthetic abrasives have verified the product's quality.
