Sharpening stone Suehiro Maido 6000 MG-6000-3

The limited-edition 6000-grit Suehiro whetstone will no longer be manufactured. WA abrasives and magnesium oxide are used in the cold-curing process to create the stone, which is then aged for around 20 years. In contrast to regular water stones, the end product is a special whetstone that provides flawless sharpening and is incredibly durable. This 6000-grit whetstone is used to give the blade an extremely clean and sharp cut, remove tiny burrs, and finish honing and polishing the edge. We advise using the Nagura stone slurry, which is also included in the set, for the sharpest possible finishing edge. There's also a plastic stand. Variations in design and uneven colouring are possible because of the technique. Stone dimensions: 182 x 60 x 10 mm.
