This Suehiro whetstone set is intended to restore a blade's unique patterns, which are gradually lost as a result of frequent polishing and sharpening. To bring out the original patterns on the blade and fog the soft iron, lightly sharpen the washer, flat side, etc. for the final finishing. Be aware that it might not work well for ornamental (printed) patterns. The contents include a rubber platform, a metal plate measuring 229 x 92 mm, a mist bottle, and polishing powders for medium- and fine-grain surfaces.
