Sumikama has dedicated itself since 1916 to producing the finest Japanese cutlery and knives, drawing on the knowledge and expertise gained from Seki City's 100 years of sword-making. One of the most well-known locations in Japan for cutlery and knife manufacturing is Seki, home to the Sumikama Cutlery facility, which produces knives under the Kasumi brand.
