Mutsumi Hinoura

A well-known family of blacksmiths from Sanjo (Niigata) is the Hinoura family. The family began producing knives over 120 years ago. Fourth-generation master knife maker Mutsumi Hinoura san is renowned across the globe for his superb creations and is regarded as one of the greatest in Japan and beyond.
