Teruyasu Fujiwara's Japanese petty kitchen knife is ideal for little and precise culinary jobs. Shirogami #1 (White Steel), a high-carbon steel known for its outstanding quality, is used to make the 150 mm long blade. Stainless steel sheaths with a black coating surround the core. A buffalo horn bolster complements the traditional Japanese wa-type handle, which is made of natural magnolia wood. This material combination highlights the traditional design of Japanese kitchen knives while ensuring lightness and great balance. It's crucial to keep in mind that Japanese knives are not meant to be used with frozen or other highly hard foods because of their thin, hard core. The knife cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.
