Yoshimi Kato

Hiroshi Kato, a former founding member of Takefu Knife Village, is the father-in-law of Yoshimi Kato. Fukui Prefecture is home to well-known blacksmith Yoshimi Kato. Before taking over the family business, he spent years following his father Hiroshi Kato in his pursuit of forging technology, doing everything he could to make knives that were simple to use and sharp. In Japan, his knives are highly prized.
