Nakagawa Satoshi hand-forged this Gyuto knife. Huge chef knife's blade is composed of ginsan silver 3 steel. Ginsan steel, sometimes referred to as Silver-3 or Ginsanko, possesses superior stainless qualities. This stainless carbon steel has 14% more chromium added to it. Ginsan has nearly the same edge retention and a toughness comparable to Shirogami #2. The exquisite handle of this handcrafted chef knife from Japan is composed of thermally treated and stabilized birch with a white spacer. The blade is roughly 50 mm high. Dishwasher use is not permitted for this knife. Japanese kitchen knives feature thin blades that are extremely durable. Cutting bones and flesh with bones, coconuts, or other hard goods using Japanese chef knives is prohibited.
