Nakiri knife made in Japan. Hand forged in Takefu, Fukui prefecture, Japan by Yoshimi Kato, a certified traditional craftsman. Blade VG-10 Black Nickel. Length of blade: 165 mm. Rosewood is the handle. nakiri is a knife for vegetables. Never try to cut, strike, or chop frozen food or bones. The blade may fracture or chip. Wash by hand in warm water, then pat dry.
